Fingerspitzen

Set in East Berlin during the fall of the Berlin Wall, the movie »Fingerspitzen« follows the journey of a young woman navigating life after becoming blind. As the political landscape crumbles, so does the barrier separating her from a world of new experiences and sensations. The protagonist rediscovers her place in a rapidly changing city, learning to see without eyes. The opening credits refer to her early childhood memories when the protoganist could still see.
